Val d’Ayas Apartments

The “Val d’Ayas Apartments” are units for rent and independent homes, all furnished in a functional and welcoming style.
Many of the apartments are new or renovated and enjoy a strategic location in the heart of the Val d’Ayas between Antagnod, Brusson and Champoluc.

Near the ski facilities of Antagnod-Ayas, we also have one apartment for sale with possible variations and extensions on request.

MAISONETTE FONTANELLA Villa with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms

Maisonette

The Maisonette accommodation is a three-room apartment located in the center of Champoluc, at the ground floor of a 3-floors villa and can accommodated up to a maximum of 6 people.
In a few minutes on foot you can reach the Crest cable car, the MonterosaSPA wellness center, shops, restaurants and tourist activities. The bus stop is 40 meters away.
The apartment has an area of about 50 square meters and consists in a living room with sofa-bed, TV-SAT and kitchen, a double bedroom and one with a single bed and a bunk bed. The floors are made of wood in the bedrooms and stoneware in the remaining spaces, bathroom with bathtub, washing machine, hot water boiler and WI-FI connection. The heating is autonomous with diesel oil.
In the sleeping area you will find duvets, pillows and bed linen and towels with a hairdryer; in the kitchen a 4-burner induction hob, traditional oven, electric kettle, microwave, set of pots, plates and crockery.
On request it is possible to use the following services:
* bathroom and bed linen, Euro 20.00 per person for sheets and towels, to be requested before arrival;
* breakfast buffet at a cost of Euro 10.00 per person per day at the Hotel L’Aiglon from 7.30 to 10.00 am upon reservation no later than 9.00 pm the day before
The building does not have private parking spaces, but just a few meters from the free public parking lots.

Fontanella

The "Fontanella" is a three-room apartment located in the center of Champoluc, on the first floor of the “Marisport” clothing store building, in Route Ramey, 2 and can accommodate up to a maximum of 5 people.
The apartment has an area of about 50 square meters divided over two floors which can be reached by a spiral staircase. Living room and the bedrooms upstairs have wooden floor. Private terrace with table and chairs and a balcony on the 2nd floor.
It consists of an equipped kitchen, living room with satellite TV, full bathroom with bathtub and ground floor terrace with stoneware floors. Upstairs a double bedroom, a bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed and a balcony, a complete bathroom with shower.
Equipped with washing machine and hot water boiler.
Included in the sleeping area you will find duvets, pillows and a hairdryer; in the kitchen a 4-burner induction hob, traditional oven, electric kettle, microwave, set of pots, plates and dishes.
The building does not have private parking spaces, but is just a few meters from the free public parking spaces.

Pets are allowed.

Villa with 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms

The Villa is independent and surrounded by a large garden with lawn and direct access on Rue Valley no. 43.
It is located in a very quiet area close to the center of the village with its shops and tourist services.
It has a single large apartment divided into 2 floors with a total of 6 beds, two bathrooms, a garage with cellar, a boiler room with oil heating and outdoor parking.
On the ground floor there is a kitchen with dishwasher, traditional oven, refrigerator with freezer, pots, plates and dishes, 28-inch TV area. You will also find a bright living room, the bathroom with shower, washing machine and iron, a balcony and a terrace with table and chairs.
On the second floor there are 3 bedrooms with terrace and a bathroom with Jacuzzi.
Blankets, pillows and bedspreads are supplied.

Useful Info

The apartment is available from 4:.00 pm on the day of arrival to 10:00 am on the day of departure. Please leave it tidy and put the garbage in the appropriate municipal bins.
Weekly rates include the costs of electricity and heating but not towels and bed linen: the surcharge for sheets and towels is € 20.00 per person per change. Please request them before arrival.
Seasonal or annual stay rates do not include the costs of electricity, heating, waste, water supply and snow shovel, which will be counted and charged depending on consumption.
The payment of the stay is to be made upon key handover.

Where can we do shopping?

In the village of Antagnod there are well-stocked grocer’s shops and a Fosson butchery selling many typical and local products such as honey, fontina and inevitable motsetta!
Many local farms sell directly or at weekly markets. During the summer, Samuel awaits you every morning at Tonin Square in Antagnod to offer you his zero-km agricultural products: strawberries, zucchini, salad, carrots, potatoes and more ... not to be missed!
The L’Agrifoglio farm sells fresh milk, cheese and yogurt, while the Champoluc Chèvre company can delight you with its goat products.
In Brusson there are 2 grocer’s shops, a convenience store, a Carrefour Express store and a butcher’s shop.
Champoluc offers a range of food and wine outlets, wineries and butchers with local and quality products.
Upon arrival, we will gladly advise you on where to shop, buy bread, croissants and fresh milk!
In the tourist offices of Brusson and Champoluc you can request a map of the villages with details of restaurants and bars, places of interest, sports and leisure activities.

What activities can be done?

From Antagnod and Brusson there are lots of excursions that can be done on foot, by mountain bike or on snowshoes.
There are two riding stables in Val d’Ayas: Green Ranch in Barmasc and Wild Horses in Challand-Saint-Victor.

What services are there in the village?

In Antagnod there is Banca Sella with ATM service open 24 hours a day, a post office, a tobacconist’s/newsagent’s in the town center and a few clothing and haberdashery shops with mountain articles and Ayas gadgets.
The municipal library of Ayas, recently moved to the new school center in Antagnod, offers exciting books on the mountains and other topics.
At 1,332 m a.s.l., Brusson offers bars, shops and restaurants, a postal service, a tourist office, an ATM, a newsagent’s/tobacconist’s and two hairdresser’s shops.
Walking in the main street of Champoluc, you will discover many refreshment points and tastings of wines, beers and Aosta Valley menus, sporting and clothing shops, newsagents, tobacco shop, post office and banking services, cable cars, MonterosaSPA wellness center and much more!

How far is the accommodation unit from the ski districts?

Easy to reach by car, the small and sunny area of Antagnod is known to be suitable for beginners. Its slopes are simple and equipped with all the services you need: instructors, ski school, ticket office and rental services.
Highly recommended for those who want to learn to ski or perhaps improve their technique, without having to face too crowded descents, the Estoul-Palasinaz slopes are 6 km from Brusson (during Christmas holidays there is a shuttle bus service; otherwise they can be reached by car) with 2 ski schools.
An alternative for wonderful days skiing is to head to Champoluc, not far from Antagnod and Brusson, which is the starting point of the Monterosa Ski area, 3 valleys for skiing, with departure from the village centre or from Frachey.
